Provide opportunities for people affected by HIV/AIDS; to enable one another in dealing with physical and psychological challenges brought on by HIV/AIDS. Provide information, advice, support, services and to arrange activities to enable people living with HIV/AIDS to make positive and informed decisions on how to live well in the context of HIV infection. Represent the views, interests and experiences of people living with HIV/AIDS. Advocate for prompt and appropriate services, whether provided by the State or independent agencies. Promote self-help and promote up to date information on HIV/AIDS as essential and complementary to anti-HIV treatments as part of an integrated and holistic approach to successful management of HIV infection.
